THE FULL ORDER OF THE DAY HAS NOW BEEN CONFIRMED. THIS IS OF COURSE A LOOSE GUIDE BAR A FEW TIMINGS, MAINLY THE CEREMONY. BUT LET’S NOT RESORT TO TIMING US ON STOPWATCHES. AND ASKING FOR YOUR MONEY BACK EY.

Guests ARE to arrive FROM 13:00, pLEASE ENSURE YOU ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 13:50.

THE CEREMONY WILL START PROMPTLY AT 14:00

THE CEREMONY WILL END AND GUESTS CAN PROCEED TO THE BAR AND CANOPY FOR FIZZ, CANAPES AND THE FIRST SPEECH.

GUESTS WILL BE INVITED INTO THE DINING HALL FOR THE SECOND SPEECH, WITH DINNER TO COMMENCE AFTER.

16:00

DINNER WILL COMMENCE, WITH GUESTS TAKING IT IN TURNS TO COLLECT THEIR BARBECUED GOODS FROM THE ITALIAN GRILL SITUATED OUTSIDE.

DINNER WILL END, AND GUESTS WILL MAKE THEIR WAY INTO THE BAR FOR THE INAUGURAL FRASER-PETERS PUB QUIZ, FOLLOWED BY THE FINAL SPEECH OF THE DAY.

ONCE THE PUB QUIZ HAS FINISHED AND WINNERS AWARDED THEIR PRIZES, EVERYONE WILL BE INVITED INTO THE MAIN HALL FOR THE FIRST DANCE, AND THE REST OF THE EVENINGS ENTERTAINMENT.

EVENING GUESTS ARE RECOMMENDED TO ARRIVE JUST BEFORE 19:00.

EVENING FOOD WILL BE BROUGHT OUT INTO THE BAR. SANDWICHES, SCAMPI FRIES, SAUSAGE ROLLS, THE WORKS.

LAST ORDERS WILL BE RANG AT THE BAR, WITH EVERYONE LEAVING THE VENUE AT MIDNIGHT. BUT AS YOU’RE A SHORT WALK FROM ANCOATS AND NORTHERN QUARTER, THE PARTY DOESN’T HAVE TO STOP THERE…

LOCATION

Hope Mill Theatre is conveniently located in central Manchester, with stunning views of the Etihad Stadium.

The location is a twenty minute walk from Piccadilly Station, and less than ten minutes in a taxi from Manchester Victoria Station. It's also five minutes walk away from New Islington and Holt Town Tram Stops, and the local area is serviced by many bus routes, for those Bee Network enthusiasts out there.

Parking is available and cars can be left on-site overnight. The venue gates will be locked overnight, but vehicles and their contents will be left at the owners own risk.

NEARBY IN THE CITY

Look. It’s Manchester. It is the second city. We’ve got a Soho House now. We’re a big deal. You shouldn’t need our help for this.  But since we’re such a generous couple, we’ve listed some nearby hotels HERE.

Whilst it’s a bank holiday, it’s also Manchester Pride weekend, so please book early to avoid disappointment. You could also stay a little further afield to save a bit of money.

At the end of the day we won’t be sharing the bed with you so it doesn’t matter to us.

  • There are three hotels near the venue, they’re of all different price levels and standards, but think of the money you’d save on a taxi…

    Next door to Piccadilly Station and a 15 minute walk to the venue. A bit flashy and popular with footballers, but a good location nonetheless.

    Also next door to Picadilly Station and a 15 minute walk to the venue. It sits above a very nice restaurant and bar for those wanting a pre-ceremony drink or wanting to quickly cure your hangover.

    This luxury hotel isn’t actually on King Street, but it’s close enough. Located right in the centre of town, it has lots of nice bars and eateries nearby to choose from.

    The Midland
    Opened in 1903, this iconic hotel in St. Peters square has been hosted royalty, both Rolls and Royce, and the occasional disgraced Tory Minister for many decades.

    A good location, right in the middle of Northern Quarter, a stones throw from the very popular Stevensons Square. Only a 20 minute walk from the venue.

    A good location in between Northern Quarter and Ancoats, with a pleasant 20 minute walk to the venue.

ACCOMMODATION FURTHER AFIELD

Whilst visiting Manchester for our wedding, you could also take in the sights of Manchesters best town and Phil Foden’s stomping ground, Stockport. 

Trains between Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly take 5-10 minutes and run until 23:30.

Taxis from the City Centre to Stockport take minimum 30 minutes and cost a minimum of £20 (completely dependent on where you’re going obviously).

You could even hire a weekend home around leafy Marple where Alice grew up. The options are endless, but we’ve listed a few to give you an iIdea.

FAQ’S

If you feel you like you have a question that has yet to have been answered, then this section is for you. Please read through all of the questions before contacting either of us.

  • The deadline for RSVPs is the end of March 2026.

  • Please list all of the names of the guests you are responding for, as well as any dietary requirements you and your party may have.

  • Guests who are either specifically invited to, or can only make it to the evening reception, can arrive at 7pm and head to the bar.

  • The venue will be open from 13:00, but you will get bored quite quickly as the bar will not be open and no one else will be there. We recommend arriving between 13:15 and 13:50.

  • We’re more than happy for you to take photos on your phone, but please do not take any photos of the couple during the ceremony. We’ve hired an excellent photographer who will get plenty of great snaps of all of our gorgeous guests.

  • All guests will be sent a link to all of the days photos via email once the photographer has completed her edits and uploaded them to a digital album.

  • This isn’t the 1970’s, we’ve lived together for over 5 years and already have a mortgage, we don’t need any teapots, duvet covers or a kettle. Though a full suite of Le Creuset cast iron pans or an original Robin Day Chevron Armchair marketed at over £2.5k wouldn’t go amiss…

    If you’d like to send us a gift, money towards our currently undecided honeymoon destination would be extremely generous.

    We’re currently debating between Korea & Japan or Northern Scandinavia (Mikey wants to play golf for 24hrs a day with no sunset. Alice is less than enthusiastic about this option.).

  • The day will be mainly hosted inside, with post ceremony drinks and canapés outside under a large canopy (weather permitting).

  • Unfortunately our budget cannot stretch to hiring two very large doormen with sketchy employment histories, so that means you can wear what’s right for the season, and what you think is comfortable and right for a wedding, without fear of being thrown into a gutter. 

    But for more specifics, the groom will be wearing a suit, but will not be going black tie. The bride will be wearing a white dress (though she hasn't bought one yet). We aren't particularly arsed what you wear but no football shirts or fancy dress costumes.

  • After the ceremony, we will officially be known as Mr and Mrs Fraser-Peters.

  • Your invite will contain the names of all of those in your party who are invited. If you think there has been a mistake, please contact us.

  • All attendees will be named on your invite, if you choose to not bring your little one, please let us know as soon as you can so we can organise our numbers and table plan.

    There won't be a children's food menu or entertainment, but who doesn't love a BBQ and a boogie?

  • The bar will be a paid bar, excluding the post ceremony drinks and table wine. The bar is fully licensed, and takes card and cash.
